Why is the Jornaya script firing cross-device identification pixel(s)?

Jornaya fires pixels to synchronize cookies with cross-device identification companies like Tapad or Drawbridge. This allows us to provide better analysis and reporting of activity on Jornaya's network. We use the data from these 3rd parties to associate separate events we witness to the same consumer. As a result, Jornaya is able to provide better network data about consumers within our ecosystem.

Jornaya does not use the cross-device data we receive from our partners to build audiences for the purposes of online targeted advertising.
